- ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆Went to gun range on aug 8/04/17 been there many times .the DNR officer on duty that day was friendly at first.he ask we ever been there said yes many time but made us stand there and listen to his rules anyways.He said he was new to this job so we set up and started shooting .just empty first clip and pointed gun at ground to release chip he yelled cease fire and came over said brother was pointing gun at his stomach and then at me never happen.Then I got a jam left gun pointed down range remove clip to release slide to clear chamber he started yelling at me saying u got a jam u got a jam said yes and I'm clearing it this guy was on a power trip he was onto everyone for nothing everyone was being safe he was clearing range instead of letting us shooters do it when we weren't even ready to change targets Every time I been I had good time with the older DNR officer there till today people were leaving we all felt uncomfortable around this guy he was on huge power trip will not return there till this guy is gone Please DNR give this guy another assignment another thing he kept standing directly behind us and did that with everyone he acted like he owned the range please fire this guyBy Russ Harris, July 01, 2017
- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★First visit to gun range and a short hunt afterwards. The gun range was a busy place for the 28th of December! Nice, friendly and helpful people of all ages and skill level! Great time! If you are thinking about visiting, just do it! Bring your boots this time of year as it is pretty muddy as to be expected. Also if you are using a GPS to get there do not take 200 off of IN 3 as instructed, that road ends at the Correctional Facilty, with posted notices of no firearms past this point!!!
